City of Beeville Texas Skatepark

Located in Flournoy Park, the Beeville, Texas Skatepark consists of just over 5,000 square feet of custom, site integrated and built skatepark terrain. During the two public input meetings a large representation of longboarders voiced for a pathway feature with pump bumps and other obstacles. What is now called the snake run connects to the street plaza section of the skatepark. The connection of both these elements resulted in the “B” shaped design, representing the City’s name of Beeville. The landscaped area in the center of the skatepark serves to break up the concrete surface while directing water to the plants therein. Integral concrete color striping further connects the skatepark’s subtle theme to this community’s history. We are proud to have once again partnered with New Line Skateparks to provide the City of Beeville Texas with this world class design-build skatepark facility.

During the construction of the Beeville Texas Skatepark, Flournoy Park was concurrently being entirely renovated to include other elements such as a butterfly garden, walking trail, an irrigation system, a central shaded plaza area and open space for recreation. Regularly scheduled coordination meetings with the general contractor and the city’s construction management firm were a key factor in the successful development of the Flournoy Park renovation. After 30 years of skatepark advocating from the community and the City’s priority to bring youthful elements to the community, Beeville now enjoys a skate park that has since been receiving rave reviews.
